Arun and Bennet’s presentation will centre around building talent analytics capability and showcase real life examples on how analytics is applied in HR.
As the analytics community matures, prioritisation of work, team growth and structure, business alignment, technology investment, and sponsorship are key to success. Their work will highlight each of these areas, that can be applied to any sized industry, in creating a successful analytical thinking.
Arun believes every analytical project creates value and agrees that business has started to value the analytics function more than ever. Their session will also highlight some examples on value creation.
Analytics Sophistication: Medium-Advanced
Bennet Voorhees is the lead people analyst for Pfizer’s commercial groups and the Talent and Organizational Performance Center of Excellence under the Chief Talent Officer. As a member of Global HR Analytics team, he also oversees several research efforts, including organisational network analyses, the application of data science methods for predictive analytics in HR, and measurement of learning and development programmes.
He joined Pfizer’s HR Analytics team in 2016. Previously, Bennet was an International Economist at the United States International Trade Commission, and a Research Analyst in the International Monetary Fund’s Research Department. He has formal and informal training in data science, international economics, and Chinese language and culture from universities, institutions, and experience in the United States and the People’s Republic of China.
