Associate Professor, Lancaster University
Anthony Hesketh is Senior Lecturer in the Management School at Lancaster University, Visiting Professor at Copenhagen Business School, Advisor on Human Capital to EY and recently named by HR Magazine as one of the profession’s Top Ten Thinkers.
His research focuses on capturing the impact of strategy and human capital on organizational financial performance. Previous books include topics on talent (Oxford University Press, 2004), performance (Cambridge University Press, 2010) and leadership (Palgrave, 2010).
Anthony was the founding director of the Centre for Performance-Led HR at Lancaster University Management School. He recently led the Valuing Your Talent research for the UK’s chartered institutes of accounting (CIMA), Management (CMI), Personnel & Development (CIPD), with the Royal Society of Arts (RSA), and funded by the UK government, exploring ways to better manage financial reporting.
Before that, he was an adviser to the UK Prime Minister’s commission on executive pay and performance. He is currently working on a project exploring the value of executive teams in leading global organisations. He can be reached via: A.Hesketh@lancaster.ac.uk
