The HRBP has a unique role in business, and can be one of the most powerful enablers of People Analytics and data-driven HR in business operations. There exists, however, a disconnect for many people between the ideal state of analytics-led conversations and decisions, and the reality on the ground, where experience and professional instinct take priority in day-to-day operations. How can we become more data-driven while operating in the real world of messy data, time pressures, and limited resources?

This session will explore:

  • Challenges facing the HRBP role
  • HRBP’s and data, People Analytics-based activity
  • Where do HRBP’s spend their time?
  • What needs to change?
  • Conclusions

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand the opportunities for data-led decisions in real-life work scenarios
  • Recognise what may be preventing you from being truly data-driven
  • Create a practical and actionable plan to overcome barriers and embed data in all your decision processes.
